Citrus Research Board - New Technologies Conference
San Diego - January 23-25, 2013 Bahia Resort located on Mission Bay
The program begins with a noon lunch followed by the first session beginning at 1:30 p.m. and transitioning into the evening program of Brews and Views. The conference will conclude at noon on the 25th. Sessions will consist of presentations by researchers followed by an open discussion.
The scope of the conference includes new technologies that may be applied to the production and harvesting of citrus, the detection of and response to invasive pests and diseases, vector interactions and economic challenges to the production of citrus in California and the United States. The preliminary agenda includes topics such as: remote sensing; nano technology; plant transformation technology, and robotics.

Florida Citrus Mutual 3rd International Research Conference on HLB
Orlando, Florida - February 4-7, 2013 Caribe Royale, Orlando

A mid-conference tour is being offered on Wednesday, February 6th. The tour will visit packinghouses and HLB-infected groves in South/Central Florida.
